          C F C
I want to hop on the last train in the station
              Am D7 G G7
Won't need to get yourself prepared
C C7 F F#dim
When you're on that last train to glory

You'll know you're reasonably there

C F C
Maybe you ain't walked on any highway

You've just been flyin' in the air

Maybe you've been hungry and poor
C C7 F F#dim
Maybe your ticket on the last train to glory
       C Am G C
Is the stranger whose been sleeping on your floor

I ain't seen trouble all day long
       C C7 F F#dim
We are only passengers on the last train to glory
          C Am G C
That will soon be long, long gone

          C F C
I want to hop on the last train in the station
              Am D7 G G7
Won't need to get yourself prepared
C C7 F F#dim
When you're on the last train to glory

Nice!!! I've loved this song but never played it. I am curious about the use of the F#dim though....is there a variation for this? I've tried a G on the high E and it sounds OK. Again Thanks!!

I enjoyed your work. Maybe or maybe not %100 perfect but to me it sounds wonderful. Thanks for the submission.

I play that as an F#7, just pull my pinkie off the F# bar chord to hit that transition note. I play this loosely Travis style, which isn’t quite how Arlo picks it but close.
